Steve concentrates his practice in the area of residential and commercial real estate development, including land acquisition and disposition, and commercial finance. His experience ranges from the acquisition of raw, undeveloped land, to the acquisition of fully improved but distressed residential and commercial subdivisions.

Steve also has significant experience in drafting and negotiating annexation and development agreements, as well as evaluating and solving problems related to homeowner associations and covenants, and restrictions of record. He regularly represents commercial secured lenders in mortgage and franchise lending transactions.

Steve began his practice at an Am Law 100 Global law firm. He uses his prior experience as Vice President and General Counsel of the Chicago division of a national homebuilder to offer unique insight and expertise in his practice.
