MPS Law Welcomes Daniel Perlin as Of Counsel

Meltzer, Purtill & Stelle LLC is pleased to welcome Daniel B. Perlin as Of Counsel in its commercial real estate, commercial tenant leasing, and real estate construction practices.

Dan brings more than 30 years of diverse commercial experience, with a focus on real estate transactions, both in-house and with law firms.

Prior to joining MPS, Dan served as in-house counsel for a pharmacy retail chain for nearly two decades and practiced at both small and large law firms in Chicago. His specialty is complex leasing and development matters, representing both office and industrial landlords and a wide variety of tenants. Throughout his career, he has been involved in every class of property and has handled land use/zoning, construction and condemnation, and cannabis law/transactions.

“Joining MPS Law is an exciting step for me,” Dan said, “In particular, I think my in-house experience brings a unique perspective to commercial leasing and development that will prove valuable to the firm, today and tomorrow.

The firm’s leadership echoed that sentiment. “Dan’s prior work with multi-national clients, Fortune 500 companies, as well as start-up businesses has allowed him to take the lead on work with our real estate clients, which have similar profiles and diverse businesses,” said Senior Partner Reuben Warshawsky. “We look forward to Dan helping the firm to continue its dedication to high-level service and the continued growth of our real estate practice.”

In a field where success is typically measured in terms of growth, Meltzer, Purtill & Stelle is that rare law firm where success is defined solely by the needs and satisfaction of the clients it serves. Founded in 1996, the firm maintains offices in Chicago and Schaumburg, with 46 attorneys working in 14 select practice areas focused on real estate, secured lending, litigation, and corporate law.
