Michael’s practice is primarily focused on litigation, with an emphasis on commercial real estate disputes. His skills and experience cover a broad range, including mortgage and lien foreclosures, loan defaults, construction litigation, property disputes, landlord-tenant lawsuits, business disputes, and fair housing discrimination proceedings.
Michael has advised and represented commercial landlord and tenants in all manner of lease disputes; lenders, court-appointed receivers, and borrowers in loan defaults, mortgage foreclosures, and lien foreclosures; contractors, subcontractors, and title companies in lien disputes; and, navigated related bankruptcy issues. Additionally, Michael has represented corporate entities and individuals in a wide array of business disputes, including contract and employment disputes, corporate disputes, and payment disputes.
Michael is a people person and zealous advocate for his clients. He utilizes his skills and experience to achieve pragmatic solutions. Prior to joining MPS, Michael worked for a boutique law firm specializing in landlord-tenant disputes and property-related litigation.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys working out and running, playing the guitar, exploring new restaurants, and general sports fandom – particularly for The Ohio State University.
